Description: The selection arrow only selects cells behind objects. The Tools/Options/LibreCalc/View no longer has this checkbox to disable or enable "Select cells behind objects". Google Bard said it was on The Tools/Options/LibreCalc/Grid area but it isn't there. Bard now says this is a known bug. I can't say when it was introduced because I don't modify graph behavior very often. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a Spreadsheet with an existing embedded graph in a shared data and graph tab 2. Try selecting the graph by clicking on any part of it 3. Only the cells behind the graph can be select Actual Results: The graph acts as though it is transparent / non-existent and clicking only selects cells underneath graph Expected Results: The graph should be the "top" object and double clicking the object should be selectable Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Graphs should be on top of the grids and double-click should select any object over the spreadsheet cell grid array.
I would suggest: * Add a link to whatever Help content that mentions that option. * Use the "Add an attachment" link to attach a sample file. Beware: it will be publicly available. See https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/Bugzilla/Sanitizing_Files_Before_Submission
Can't reproduce in: Version: 7.5.7.1 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 47eb0cf7efbacdee9b19ae25d6752381ede23126 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded From what I can tell, "Select cells behind objects" has never existed, it might be Bard hallucinating. As ady said, please provide an example file in which the issue happens.
